

Perry Township is in northwestern Fayette County, bordered by Westmoreland County to the north. Also listed are the Alliance Furnace, Providence Quaker Cemetery and Chapel, and Layton Bridge. The Star Junction Historic District and Whitsett Historic District are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The borough of Perryopolis, a separate municipality, lies enclaved at the center of the township. Star Junction, Wickhaven, Whitsett, Banning and Layton are unincorporated communities within the township. The Frazier School District serves the township. The population was 2,336 at the 2020 census, a decline from the figure of 2,552 tabulated in 2010. They are listed below.Perry Township is a township in Fayette County, Pennsylvania, United States. The Trustee is required to see that the necessary needs of an individual or family are met. The duties of the Trustee are to care for the poor with the most economical means available. Tammy has worked for Perry Township Schools for 20 years in the library and has an extensive administrative background. Serving as her Chief Deputy is Tammy Springman.

Patty is excited to continue to serve the people of Perry Township and move the township forward with new ideas and fresh perspectives. Patty also served as a member of the Perry Township Board collaborating with the former Trustee the internal aspects that go into overseeing the township finances. The majority of that time and the last 18 years were spent working at Southport 6th Grade Academy. We welcome Patty Hagenmaier to The Office of The Perry Township Trustee on January, 1 2023. Prior to being elected as Township Trustee, she worked for the Perry Township Schools for over 26 years.
